Shipping old tube radios:
You can ship the entire radio in the cabinet or just the
chassis. If you decide to ship the entire radio, use a strong
box [doubled boxed is preferred]. Place the radio in a
plastic bag. Wrap the radio in bubble packing material.
Fill the box to about 1/3 packing peanuts. Place the radio in
the box and fill it with packing peanuts. Make sure the
radio is snug and doesn't move around in the box.
--OR-- visit your local UPS shipping store
--If you decide to ship the chassis [for tube type radios]
we will need the speaker and antenna also.
--Speakers should be shipped in a separate box!
