Restoration
Restoration of a vacuum tube radio includes a basic set of services
designed to restore a radio to it's original condition: safe, reliable and
a good quality sound. To determine the cost of repair / restoration of
your radio, we will inspect the chassis to determine it's problems and
the parts needed. There is no cost for this inspection!
radio restoration includes:
+ clean the chassis
+ replace all paper and electrolytic capacitors
+ replace AC cord [UL approved]
+ replace resistors that are out of tolerance
+ replace any wires that are aged or cracked
+ install an AC fuse in line with AC cord and power transformer
+ test all tubes and replace those that are bad
+ refurbish all controls and switches
+ inspect and repair antenna
+ calibrate and align all functions

+ table radios: $ 50 plus parts & shipping
+ floor models: $ 150 plus parts & shipping

+ i year warranty on all restorations [parts and labor]
